EBARA Corp. (EBARA) introduced a pump equipped with an inverter-mounted PM motor.

1. Background

In recent years, while the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals "SDGs" has been emphasized, EBARA has launched new products to conserve energy in its mainstay pump.

2. Product outline

(1) Features
① Energy saving
· High-efficiency PM motor equivalent to IE5 and inverter are integrated to realize energy saving at the same time.
· Adjust rotational speed with inverter to optimize flow rate. Measured results for circulation applications show an average reduction of 35% in pump power consumption.

② Minimize initial cost and eliminate space saving, simple installation, and inverter panel (main body and construction cost).
· Peripheral equipment (DC reactor, noise filter) to save space.
· Dimensions equivalent to induction motor. Easily replaceable with existing pumps with the same connection, face-to-face dimensions and equivalent performance.

③ Easy setup with a smartphone app
· No complex parameter settings for the inverter are required, and various settings such as rotation speed, acceleration time, and starting frequency can be easily adjusted via the app.
