Work responsibilities
In the construction and industrial markets in Japan, we are promoting the business (sales) of EBARA Maintenance Cloud, a new condition monitoring service business that utilizes IoT sensors and the cloud. With sales expansion work, I keep in mind in the need to think about what the real problems facing customers are regarding the maintenance and management of facilities. In this way, if the customer actually evaluates EBARA Maintenance Cloud and moves to this adoption, I feel that I am glad that I recommended it.
Skill development and sharing expertise with other employees
For more than 15 years since joining the company, I have been engaged in private demand sales (now industrial sales). I went to customer factories and plants and made proposals and conducted negotiations directly, so I think those skills that I was able to acquire were also significant. In developing and researching services, it is important to avoid becoming self-centered (on your own company/department), and consider whether the service truly meets customer needs, whether it is easy for the sales department to sell, and whether it is easy for the manufacturing department to create.
Future goals & message to young people
Through the EBARA Maintenance Cloud and other means, I hope to create the impression that all kinds of EBARA products are connected (pumps, blowers, chillers, etc.), that they do not stop (no downtime due to failures; no water outages), and that they operate on-demand with optimal energy savings. Water and air delivered by pumps and blowers are essential to our daily lives and corporate activities. I believe that providing equipment and services that support the economic foundation is socially significant, so I would like to work together with young people.
