Work responsibilities

We are involved in technological development related to manufacturing and the rapid production of prototypes for new products developed by the Ebara Group. Conventionally, development prototypes are sometimes outsourced, but by being involved from the prototyping stage, we at EMTAC are able to create prototypes with the understanding that they will later be manufactured on EBARA's actual equipment, and we can also provide feedback to the design and development departments from the prototyping stage onwards to make the prototypes easier to manufacture. We believe that these effects will be beneficial for the EBARA Group.

Adjustments made when teaching skills to international trainees, and lessons learned

In considering how to express the level of growth (progress) of trainees, and how to share this with Nghiem, the dispatching company, and mentors (facilitators), we created a radar chart. When formulating the training plan, we took into consideration the fact that what we want to teach and what the dispatching company wants us to teach do not always match up. It is both challenging and interesting to come to an agreement on the training goals and how to proceed with the training and work responsibilities while dealing with the trainees' language and cultural differences. It will be a great joy to see the growth exceeding our expectations.

Future goals & message to young people

These days, there is a growing global demand for environmental, safety, and carbon neutral perspectives and considerations. It is not enough to simply make it possible to do the obvious, and I believe the technology required for development will also continue to change. Given this, I would like to train engineers who can play an active role on a global scale, and who can work outside the EBARA Group. At EMTAC, we have systems for data analysis, etc., but we also provide an on-site environment where employees can get to work and create things manually. We can collaborate with those overseas, and we provide opportunities to equally learn about a wide range of product manufacturing. Depending on the individual, they may be able to experience a variety of things.
