Work Responsibilities

As a member of EMTAC, I am involved in the development of new products, mainly focusing on the prototyping pump parts using press technology, expanding the expertise of core technologies (Incremental Forming included in press technology), and supporting various business districts in EBARA in resolving their specific issues. Incremental Forming, also known as Sequential Forming, is a technology that processes thin metal sheets into a desired shape by gradually forming them. It does not require a specialized die, so it is also referred to as Die-less Forming. Since 2020, I have been involved in press technology operations, conducting technical research and building expertise in Incremental Forming to shorten the lead time for prototypes.

Regarding Daily Motivation and How to Acquire Skills

At EBARA, Incremental Forming is still a new technology, and I am centrally involved in investigating this technique. Being able to become a "pioneer" within EBARA is my greatest motivation, and I am learning daily to acquire the necessary skills for this role. I also believe that aligning information in advance is the most important aspect of creating prototypes. I carefully confirm details such as the shape, the product's intended use, and the assumed mass production method with the business department before starting prototype production.

Future Aspirations and My Message to Younger Generations

In the future, I aim to contribute to the development of new products and parts by significantly reducing prototype lead time through Incremental Forming. In addition, I want to be a professional who possesses broad knowledge and can quickly resolve the issues faced by our business department. EBARA has an environment where the know-how of our core technologies can be accumulated at our domestic bases. Also, starting with EMTAC, I feel that there are no barriers between departments, making it easy to consult with others. I hope more colleagues will become involved in Incremental Forming, andlet's definitely become pioneers within EBARA!
