Received an order for pump equipment renewal work for the Sosei River Water Reclamation Plaza in Sapporo
1. Background
Sapporo is a popular tourist destination, with a thriving tertiary industry centered on restaurants and accommodation facilities, and a large population. Much of the wastewater and rainwater flowing into the city is treated at the plant and then channeled to nearby rivers and other areas, where it is used as a water source to create a rich waterfront space.
2. Overview
This station is responsible for sewage treatment and flood prevention in an area where approximately 240,000 people live, including the central city area of Sapporo, so stable operation is required as an important infrastructure facility that supports people's lives. By updating the equipment that makes up the pump system, such as the engine that drives the storm water pump and the reduction gear that transmits power, EBARA will improve reliability and durability, and contribute to realizing safe and secure living in the local area.
