Hokuriku Agricultural Policy Bureau Delivered 4 large drainage pumps to the 1st Drainage Station in Niigata Prefecture

EBARA Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "EBARA") has delivered four large rainwater drainage pumps to the Yoroigata No. 1 Drainage Station (hereinafter referred to as the "Drainage Station") ordered by the Hokuriku Agricultural Policy Bureau.

This machine is located in the central and western part of Niigata Prefecture, where rice cultivation and the cultivation of fruit trees and vegetables are thriving. Since the area is surrounded by multiple rivers and is a low-lying area containing land below zero meters above sea level, it has long been plagued by flooding caused by heavy rains. Reclamation began in the Edo period, and after the war, the construction of drainage stations and the development of drainage channels progressed in stages, and flood damage in the area was improved and agricultural management was stabilized. Since 60 years have passed since the start of operation of this aircraft and its deterioration has become an issue, it has been decided to be reborn as the new Armor Lagoon No. 1 Drainage Station.

In this work, we designed, manufactured, and constructed a large pump and peripheral equipment at the new plant, which was built in place of the existing facility. In addition, after the start of operation, it will also monitor and control the operation of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th airports located in the vicinity of this aircraft. By improving the reliability of facilities and performing efficient maintenance and management, we contribute to the maintenance of local agricultural production and the stability of agricultural management.
