1. Background
EBARA Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "EBARA") is a pension fund management incorporated administrative agency (GPIF)Selected as " EBARA signed the TCFD in May 2019 to promote the disclosure of climate-related financial information. After disclosing climate-related information based on the TCFD recommendations in 2021, we conducted face-to-face scenario analyses for each market based on the opinions we received through dialogue with investors and our awareness of issues. Every year since then, we have worked to resolve social issues through our climate-related risk and opportunity monitoring functions and actively disclose information.
2. Outline
This evaluation requests the selection of "excellent TCFD disclosure" from the 20 investment managers entrusted by GPIF to manage domestic stocks. As a result, 44 companies were selected as "excellent TCFD disclosure."
EBARA referred to IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standard S2, and disclosed information in June 2024.
