EBARA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "EBARA") is a special sponsor of the National Challenge Contest for Boys and Girls (hereinafter referred to as "Cha Recon") sponsored by the Invention Association.
On Saturday, December 14, 2024, the national convention was held, and the Ebara Corporation Award was decided.

1. Background and Objectives

Chare-Con is a business that began in 2010. Hatsumei Kids, who aim to be the best in Japan, will tackle one task in a team (production of handicrafts, performance, etc.). EBARA has established the EBARA Corporation Award as a special sponsor of the contest. One of the key themes of its social contribution activities is the development of global human resources who will lead the next generation. Through Cha Recon, we aim to foster a challenging spirit of thinking and acting by having boys and girls across the country experience the enjoyment of manufacturing and the importance of teamwork.

Participating teams are composed of 2 to 3 people from the third grade of elementary school to the third grade of junior high school. This year, we produced "Karakuri performance works" which are the themes we wanted to publicize and competed for the content of the performance.

3. Future plans

EBARA will continue to contribute to the nurturing of engineers who will lead the next generation through social contribution activities such as providing pumps and other products and services, as well as creating opportunities for children to become interested in technology and manufacturing.
