Nagoya City Received an order for construction of a new Kasugai water purification plant.
1. Background
This plant, which began operation in Kasugai City in 1969, is the largest water purification plant in the city. The facility capacity has been increased in line with the increase in water demand, and it is currently the largest water purification plant in the city that supplies tap water of 590,000 m 3 per day. Tap water produced at this plant is supplied mainly to the eastern area of Nagoya City via each distribution station. In recent years, the facilities have been rebuilt due to the aging of the facilities that support the infrastructure.
