(2024/12/15) First to win Silver certification under PRIDE Indicator 2024


 

 

Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Ebara) has been selected as a member of the PRIDE Index 2024, which was formulated by the general incorporated association "work with Pride" and evaluates the efforts of companies and organizations to support LGBTQ+ and other sexual minorities. * " was the first time that the company received the "Silver" certification.



1. Background


EBARA has set "promoting the active participation of human resources" as one of the key issues in its long-term vision, "E-Vision 2030," and is working to build a corporate culture that emphasizes DE&I (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion). Our policies and efforts to create a workplace environment where all diverse employees, including LGBTQ+ people, can respect each other and feel motivated and comfortable in their work are highly evaluated, leading to us receiving Silver Certification in the PRIDE Index 2024.

Support for "Business for Marriage Equality"
Create a rainbow company logo
Sponsored "Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2024" for the first time as a silver sponsor
Introduction of DE&I promotion support services and awareness-raising activities through webinars
・Implementing in-house training and film viewing events to promote understanding of LGBTQ+
・Holding meetings to exchange opinions with overseas group companies
・Research into pride events in Japan and overseas
・Exchange information with DE&I departments of other companies



3. Future developments


EBARA will continue to respect and support diversity, expanding the scope of application of our in-house systems and improving our working environment, including installing barrier-free toilets. We aim to create a workplace where each employee respects each other's diverse values and identities and can maximize their capabilities.

 

 

 

The EBARA Group will address material ESG issues based on its long-term vision and medium-term management plan in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and further increase its corporate value.
