This meeting was part of the Economic Development Office's visits to Japanese companies, facilities, embassies, etc., with the aim of hearing about best practices and business opportunities for Japanese companies regarding hydrogen hub infrastructure in Pennsylvania. Ebara's Elliott Company, a core energy company that operates the "Ebara Elliott Energy" brand, has its headquarters and factory in Genet, Pennsylvania, USA, and is actively engaged in creating employment and investing in facilities in the local area, which is why it was selected as the destination for this visit.
On the day, President Asami provided an overview of the company's business and introduced the company's long-term vision, "E-Vision 2030." Energy Company President Miyagi explained the company's energy segment business, and General Manager of CP's Hydrogen-Related Strategic Business Unit Tsukamoto explained the company's hydrogen infrastructure-related business and its contributions to the two hydrogen hubs in Pennsylvania. Afterwards, the two sides exchanged opinions on infrastructure investment and the employment situation in Pennsylvania, and were able to share their respective views on issues and prospects. This provided a valuable opportunity for the two sides to work together to create business opportunities in the future.
