Establish a new Energy Company service shop in Abu Dhabi
Expand bases in various parts of the world to meet the growing demand for services

The Energy Company of Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "EBARA") will establish a new service shop for Energy Company products in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Abu Dhabi Emirates (hereinafter referred to as "Abu Dhabi") in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025 * . Furthermore, in June 2025, we will expand the capacity of our service shops operating in Houston, U.S.A., our flagship base.

1. Background

EBARA is working to optimize its global service network by expanding and consolidating bases in order to transform the energy segment into a new growth business that adapts to changes in the business environment backed by carbon neutral and energy transitions in the medium-term management plan "E-Plan2025". The new establishment and expansion of this service shop is a part of this strategy.

2. Overview

 

(1) About new service shops in Abu Dhabi

This time, we decided to establish a new service shop in Abu Dhabi to meet the demand for services to the Middle East Gulf countries and neighboring countries." We have positioned the Middle East and Asia as growth regions in the energy sector, and expect demand for services and support (S&S) in compressor turbines and custom pumps to increase in the future. In addition to service shops for custom pumps that are already in operation in Saudi Arabia and service shops for compressors and turbines that started operation in 2023, we will establish a system to meet the growing demand for services by operating this new base.

(2) Expansion of Houston's flagship base

Houston is one of the center of the energy field. Demand for customers and markets is strong, and the region is expected to grow in the future. In order to provide more sophisticated and quicker services for rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors and turbines, we have decided to expand the capacity of our existing service shops and are scheduled for completion in June 2025.

Expansion content	Expansion of existing facilities from about 7000 m2 to about 9300 m2. Expand production scale by expanding state-of-the-art facilities. Planning to increase the number of employees by more than 20, contributing to the creation of local employment and the local community.

3. Future outlook

The Energy Company has a vision of becoming the best solution provider by providing excellent equipment and services in the energy field. With compressor turbines and custom pumps as its main products, the Company will continue to establish and consolidate S&S bases to meet customer demand.

Progress in "Global network service optimization by expansion and consolidation of bases"

As part of the sales and service integration of compressor turbine and custom pump, we newly established a service shop covering both pump and compressor turbine in Indonesia, and it will start operation in May 2024 You have started. We will respond to the growing demand for services in this area at our headquarters.

Also, due to the transfer of customers' operating bases and markets to other regions, the consolidation of service shops in Burlington and Guatemala in Canada was carried out at the end of September 2023 and March 2024, respectively. This will optimize the service network and build a system to efficiently provide services to customers, as well as improve the profitability of the S&S business.
