Received an order from the Tohoku Regional Agricultural Administration Office for repair and maintenance work on four large pumps at the Oiiri Pumping Station (Miyagi Prefecture)

EBARA Corporation (EBARA) received an order for the renovation and maintenance of four large pumps at the Oiri Pumping Unit Station (EBARA) in Miyagi Prefecture.

1. Background

This plant is located in the northeastern part of Miyagi Prefecture and is located in a paddy field area extending to the right bank of the former Kitakamigawa River. In this region, where rice, soybeans, barley, and other crops are cultivated, irrigation facilities including agricultural pump equipment have supported local agricultural management for over 50 years. In recent years, however, facilities have deteriorated over time, and the maintenance and management of aging facilities has become expensive and labor-intensive, requiring the renewal of pumping facilities.

2. Overview

This construction work involves disassembling the pump body on site and replacing and servicing many parts. We will also update all the equipment that makes up the pump system, including the prime mover and reducer. By enhancing the reliability of this machine base and ensuring efficient maintenance and management, we contribute to the maintenance of local agricultural production and the stability of agricultural management.
