Selected and awarded as a contractor with excellent safety management by the Director General of the Kanto Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism

Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Ebara") was awarded by the director of the Kanto Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in the "Superior Safety Management Orderer" section of the 2023 Award for Outstanding Construction Work, etc. This award recognizes Ebara's efforts to improve safety measures in construction projects completed in fiscal 2022.

The river basin under the jurisdiction of the Kanto Regional Development Bureau contains many residential houses, businesses, and major transportation routes. EBARA delivers many large-scale drainage pumps to drainage facilities with the aim of reducing inundation and other inundation damages when rivers increase due to heavy rains and other factors.

EBARA is solving the problems of urban flooding, which has become severe in recent years, by making proposals for pump facilities, etc., designing, procurement, construction of machinery and equipment, and comprehensive engineering of after-sales service. This time, the construction work ordered by the Kanto Regional Development Bureau, which was the target of the evaluation, was completed without an accident, because all the related persons actively engaged in "safety and health management" and "safety education" for the purpose of preventing industrial accidents.
