EBARA Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "EBARA") was selected as one of the top 350 companies for the first time in the "Asia-Pacific Climate Leaders 2024" survey, conducted jointly by the Financial Times and the German research firm Statista, in recognition of its efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
1. Overview
The Asia-Pacific Climate Change Leaders program is held for the third time this year, which selects companies that contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the Asia-Pacific region. The study is based on the degree of reduction in greenhouse gas emissions relative to sales from 2017 to 2022, and is evaluated based on metrics such as Scope 3 transparency, CDP scores, and SBT initiatives.
2. Ebara's Response to Climate Change
The EBARA Group recognizes that climate change countermeasures are an important issue shared by the entire world. In order to make products that give maximum consideration to the reduction of environmental impact, we have formulated and are implementing Environmental Targets 2030, which summarize our vision for 2030 in terms of the environment.
