Our Chairman of the Board of Directors participates in the 12th "Ensuring the Effectiveness of Corporate Governance in Japan: Talking to the Chairman of the Outside Director and the Chairman of the Nomination Committee."

Our Chairman of the Board of Directors, Hiroyuki Oeda (Independent Outside Director), will be participating in the 12th CG Net Roundtable Lecture, "Ensuring the Effectiveness of Corporate Governance in Japan - A Discussion with a Former Outside Director and Nominating Committee Chair," hosted by the Japan Corporate Governance Network*.

This seminar will invite individuals with experience in roles such as chairman of the board of directors and chairman of the nominating committee to hold a roundtable discussion on ensuring the effectiveness of corporate governance in Japan.

Oeda will also talk about the evolution of Ebara's corporate governance, efforts to evaluate its effectiveness, and, from his perspective as the former chairman of the Nomination Committee, the company's succession plan for the president.
