EBARA Corp. (EBARA) received an order for the construction and installation of two large-scale drainage pumps at the Tagata No. 1 drainage unit station in Niigata Prefecture (hereinafter referred to as "the unit station").
Received an order for two large drainage pumps from the Hokuriku Regional Agricultural Administration Office's Tagata No. 1 Drainage Pumping Station (Niigata Prefecture)
1. Background
This plant is located in the central part of Niigata Prefecture, where rice and other fruit trees and vegetables are grown actively. Since the area is surrounded by multiple rivers and is a low-lying area containing land below zero meters above sea level, it has long been plagued by flooding caused by heavy rains. Reclamation began in the Edo period, and after the war, the construction of drainage stations and the development of drainage channels progressed in stages, and flood damage in the area was improved and agricultural management was stabilized. However, in recent years, the aging of facilities and machinery and equipment that have been built for more than 40 years has become an issue. 50 years have passed since the plant began operation, and it will be reborn as a new Tagata No.1 drainage plant.
2. Overview
This project involves the design, manufacture, and construction of large pumps and peripheral equipment at the new drainage plant, which will be constructed in place of the existing plant. By enhancing the reliability of facilities and ensuring efficient maintenance and management, we contribute to the maintenance of local agricultural production and the stability of agricultural management.
