Certified as an "Official Supporter of River Basin Flood Control" established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism

Ebara Corporation (Ebara) was certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport as an official watershed flood control supporter.

In recent years, there have been concerns that floods will be more severe and frequent due to impacts such as climate change. In addition to the river improvements and construction of balancing ponds that have been implemented up until now, comprehensive, multi-layered measures are now being implemented throughout the entire river basin with the cooperation of all relevant parties, including the utilization of existing facilities and innovative land use measures. In light of this situation, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism established the "Basin Flood Control" official supporter system in order to widely publicize and promote businesses that have worked on river basin flood control and support it.

EBARA's long-term vision, "Contributing to the Creation of a Sustainable Society" is one of the key issues in E-Vision2030. EBARA has concluded disaster agreements with the national government and local governments and is engaged in activities such as supporting the emergency restoration of drainage facilities and disaster recovery through its business, as well as promoting understanding of river basin flood control among the general public at exhibitions and drainage pumping station tours. This certification was given to the recognition of our stance of working together with the relevant offices to take flood control measures for the entire basin, with the aim of protecting the lives and livelihoods of the people from flooding.

EBARA has the leading domestic supply of pumps for wastewater facilities, and is currently carrying out a number of projects, including renewal and remodeling, as well as new construction.
