Hiroyuki Kowase

Joined Kao in April 1986. After serving as the General Manager of the Global Business Synchronization Department of the company's Information Systems Division, he was in charge of the same department in October 2012. He joined LIXIL in January 2014 and served as Executive Officer and General Manager of the IT Promotion Division. In April of the same year, he also served as CIO. Since December 2015, he has served as Senior Executive Officer, CIO and General Manager of the Information Systems Division. In December 2018, he joined Ebara Corporation. Since April 2019, he has been the General Manager of the Information and Communications Management Department. He has been an executive officer since March 2020 and has been in his current position since January 2023. Winner of the grand prize of "Nikkei Cross Tech's CIO/CDO of the Year 2023".

The EBARA Group will address material ESG issues based on its long-term vision and medium-term management plan in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and further increase its corporate value.
