1. Background
Based on the long-term vision "E-Vision2030" established in 2022, the EBARA Group has identified "thorough environmental management" as one of its key issues. In addition, the basic policy of the new medium-term management plan "E-Plan2025" is to make "further evolution of ESG-based management" a priority area, and we are working to reduce environmental impact through carbon neutral, in-house products/services.
2. Overview
We obtained a verification report for greenhouse gas emissions data (Scope 1 and 2) for 2022 (from January 2022 to the end of December 2022) following a third-party verification based on ISO14064-3 by the Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA). With highly accurate and reliable data for stakeholders It is now possible to disclose:

3. Future Plans
The EBARA Group will continue its efforts to achieve its medium- and long-term targets for greenhouse gas emissions (reduction of 55% from the 2018 level of greenhouse gases (Scope 1 and 2) by 2030, and achievement of carbon neutral by 2050).
