Received the CCI Tokyo 4th Construction Industry Young Women Empowerment Award

At the Ebara Infrastructure Company's Social Systems Construction Department Ishii Momiha, Tokyo 4th construction industry "Hand and female {} {} {} won the grand prize."

1. Background

The domestic construction machinery industry is facing a decline in the total population and an aging society with a declining birthrate, and the securing and training of human resources who will be responsible for the future is an issue. This award recognizes young and female engineers who are active in construction work in Tokyo, and is intended to promote the attractiveness of the construction industry, thereby contributing to the development of future leaders and the promotion of female recruitment.

2. Overview

This award is given to outstanding activities that contribute to the advancement of young people and women. Thirty-three of the 82 applicants were selected for the construction industry Young People and Women's Participation Award. This award is in recognition of Ishii's work as the engineer in charge of the "Improvement and Repair Work of the Low-Level Sewage Pump Facility No. 3 of the Higashi-Kosuya Pump Station of the Bureau of Sewerage of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government" that Ebara constructed in FY2023. This work was intended to improve the pumping function of the pumps installed at the Higashi-Kosuya Pump Station in Ota-ku, Tokyo. The Higashi-Kotani Pumping Station is an important facility with 22 large-diameter pumps for pumping sewage. The improvement and repair work of the pump equipment, which is at the heart of the project, is responsible for protecting the safe lives of the residents of Tokyo.

3. Future Plans

The EBARA Group's long-term vision "E-Vision2030" calls for "promoting the active participation of human resources" as a key issue. This award is very meaningful not only for our company, but also for the construction machinery industry, as it will give impetus to the promotion of employment, securing workers, and promoting the active participation of human resources regardless of gender.
