Pump Technology Seminar in Thailand

Ebara Corporation (hereafter: Ebara) held the “Hatakeyama Seiji Memorial Ebara Fund Pump Technology Seminar” (hereafter: this seminar) in Bangkok, Thailand at the end of last year. This is the 33rd time this seminar has been co-hosted with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).

1. Background
As a social contribution activity unique to Ebara, we are training overseas pump engineers for countries in need of water infrastructure maintenance and renewal, and countries with frequent floods and typhoon damage.

2. Overview
In this seminar, in addition to lectures on pump technology for water supply equipment, we conducted a tour to water purification plants and water intake pumping stations where our products have been delivered.
The seminar was attended by 34 people from 8 countries: Thailand, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Nepal, Cambodia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Singapore.

Since the establishment of the Hatakeyama Seiji Memorial Ebara Foundation in 1989, Ebara has held over 280 seminars around the world, and a total of over 13,000 people have participated. A total of 5 seminars were held in 2023.

3. Future developments We
will continue to contribute to the development of Southeast Asian and South American countries through not only providing products and services such as pumps, but also through international cooperation activities such as technical seminars.
