New Year's Address by President Masao Asami (Summary)

On the beginning of the year 2024, I would like to make a greeting for the New Year.

First of all, I pray for the repose of those who died in the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred on New Year's Day. We would also like to express our heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the disaster. As EBARA, we will firmly fulfill our mission of supporting society and industry by providing possible support to the people affected by the disaster.

Last year, the corona, which had lasted for three years, converged, enabling employees to work face-to-face without limitation, and I think it was a year in which we sought new ways of working by taking advantage of the advantages of remote systems. In this environment, if Ebara achieves the business forecast announced in November, it will achieve its highest ever sales revenue and operating profits. EBARA's mission is to continue to support society and industry at sites throughout Japan and around the world, and we have been able to achieve our goals thanks to all of you, including our employees, their families who support us, the companies that cooperate with us, our suppliers, and our customers. Thank you very much.

This year is the second year of the second mid-term business plan "E-Plan2025," which is positioned as "creating value from the customer's perspective = starting a business" in order to realize the long-term vision "E-Vison2030." As a new year begins, new initiatives continue for the future of EBARA. The world situation is constantly changing and the future is difficult to predict. However, what is wonderful is that now that the coronavirus has subsided, we are able to find working styles that are more effective for each business and task. In order to continue to support EBARA's aspirations, what it wants to do, society, and industry, it is necessary for all employees to demonstrate their strengths in their respective operations.

With technology, hot and support the world!
