Exhibiting at SEMICON Japan 2023


Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Ebara") will exhibit at SEMICON Japan 2023 (hereinafter referred to as "this exhibition"), which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight for three days from Wednesday, December 13th to Friday, December 15th, 2023.

This exhibition is an international exhibition of electronics manufacturing that covers manufacturing technologies, equipment, and materials in the semiconductor industry, as well as SMART applications such as cars and IoT devices. Ebara will exhibit component products such as CMP equipment and dry vacuum pumps, as well as its new plasma cleaning system and Ebara's carbon neutral activities. Additionally, Ebara employees will be speaking at the "Women in Business" session hosted by the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Working Group, which promotes women's participation in the semiconductor industry.

2. "Women in Business" session presentation

The labor shortage problem in the manufacturing industry is becoming more serious every year, and securing and developing future human resources is also a major issue in the semiconductor industry. In order to attract future talent to the semiconductor industry, SEMI Japan has positioned promoting women's participation in the workforce as one of the key points of its DE&I activities, and has launched a DE&I working group consisting of 12 semiconductor-related companies from Japan and abroad. We will discuss the current situation and issues regarding promoting women's participation in the workforce, as well as how we can work in our own way regardless of nationality, gender, or age. From Ebara, the panelist will be Mr. Tei, Section Manager of the Corporate Planning Section, Corporate Planning Department, Corporate Strategy Division, Precision Machinery Company.
