Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Ebara) has been selected for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Tokyo Office's "Industrial Vocational Training Program in Africa through Technology Transfer from Japan."
Since its founding, Ebara has contributed to solving social issues through its business. One of the goals of our long-term vision, "E-Vision 2030," is to contribute to the realization of a society without water and food shortages in regions with growing populations and economic development, and to provide water to 600 million people around the world.
This program, funded by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, is aimed at local African engineers and industrial human resources, who will learn about the technologies of Japanese companies that lead to sustainable development and disseminate the knowledge and technology in their own countries. This will be the first such initiative for UNIDO ITPO Tokyo in Africa. Through this program, EBARA will promote technology transfer in Africa and expand its pump business through EBARA PUMPS SOUTH AFRICA (PTY) LTD, a member of the EBARA Group.
