EBARA Corporation (hereafter: EBARA) has delivered 2 large drainage pumps for the purpose of improving the drainage capacity of the Otanigawa Stormwater Pumping Station (hereafter: main airport, managers: Sakado, Tsurugashima Sewerage Association).
Two large drainage pumps were delivered to the Otani River Stormwater Pumping Station (Saitama Prefecture)

1. Background and Aim
The Otani River Rainwater Pumping Station, located in the center of Saitama Prefecture, has played a role in protecting the region from flooding due to heavy rain for about 15 years since 2008. With the delivery of a new pump this time, the drainage capacity of this station is now double that of the previous one. Along with existing pumps, newly installed pumps will also contribute to the community as equipment that supports life and industry.
2. Overview
Combining the newly delivered pump with the existing pump, the drainage capacity of the entire drainage station will be 21 tons per second.
