Selected and Honored by Sapporo Municipal Sewer and River Bureau as "Excellent Sapporo Municipal Sewer and River Bureau Contractor in FY2020"

1.Background
Sewage treatment plants are an essential infrastructure for the safety and comfort of residents. EBARA solves the problems faced by sewage treatment plants by proposing, designing, procuring, machine and equipment construction, and comprehensive engineering of facilities such as pumps and blowers.
2-1 Overview
This award is given to companies with excellent construction in works ordered by the Sapporo Municipal Sewer and River Bureau. In this award, the maintenance work of all three sewage pumps delivered to Toyohira River Water Reclamation Plaza, Ibarato Water Reclamation Plaza, and Sosei River Water Reclamation Plaza, sewage treatment plants in Sapporo City, was evaluated. By disassembling and maintaining the existing vertical shaft pumps at each sewage treatment plant on site, we were able to shorten the construction period and avoid accidents and disaster risks during transportation of equipment compared to carrying pumps from the site and performing maintenance at the EBARA Futtsu Plant in Chiba Prefecture.
