Introduced "Cradle," a DEI promotion support service centered on healthcare, supporting employees' minds and bodies and diverse work styles, and promoting task diversity in companies

Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "EBARA") is pleased to announce that Cradle Co., Ltdopens in a new tab. (hereinafter referred to as "Ebara") has established a platform to support the physical and mental health of its employees and diverse work styles. Cradle, Representative: Mari Ozaki, Artist Name: Sputniko! We have introduced "Cradle*1", a corporate DEI promotion support service provided by Cradle*2.

1. Background

EBARA is working to strengthen data-driven human capital management in order to realize a corporate culture in which diverse human resources can play an active role while feeling a sense of job satisfaction and comfort.

2-1 Overview

In strengthening our data-driven human capital management, we are focusing on promoting task diversity and improving well-being, which is the foundation of our activities.

In order to improve well-being, it is necessary to have a work environment in which employees can choose their own careers and continue to work with peace of mind while experiencing life events (marriage, childbirth, childcare, nursing care, etc.). To this end, it is important for all employees to raise their awareness from both life events and career axes, to exercise empathy not only for themselves, but also for their families and the members who work with them, and to create a work environment where they respect each other. Therefore, we have introduced Cradle, a DEI promotion support service that allows people to learn a variety of knowledge about life events and careers.

3. Future Developments

In the age of VUCA, where there are no right answers, EBARA will support diverse employees through education and reskilling on life events so that they can think autonomously about their own future and play an active role. By converting these experiences into data and providing data-driven support so that each employee can freely choose a diverse career, we will lead to improved well-being, realize the materiality of our long-term vision "E-Vision 2030," "promote the active participation of human resources," and further enhance our corporate value.

*1 Abbreviation for "Diversity," "Equity," and "Inclusion."
*2 A service that supports the health of employees through a variety of healthcare content, such as online seminars on health and life events by doctors and DEI experts, and coupons that can be used at hospitals and clinics.
In addition to health concerns, we also support diverse employee work styles by providing them with the information and knowledge they need to choose their careers, by responding to concerns according to gender and age stage, such as infertility treatment and AGA (androgenic pattern baldness).
