Conclusion of an agreement for the transfer of immersion pump business at a subsidiary


EBARA Pumps Europe S.p.A. (hereinafter referred to as "EPE"), a group company of EBARA Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "EBARA"), has reached an agreement with SKF Lubrication Systems Germany GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "SKF"), a subsidiary of the SKF Group in Germany, regarding the acquisition of the company's immersion pump (Spandau Pumpen) business. We have concluded a business transfer agreement on July 11, 2023.

1. Background

In its medium-term management plan "E-Plan 2025," the Construction & Industrial Company has set forth a policy of strengthening its strategy of developing new markets globally by expanding and expanding sales of products with the aim of entering the industrial process and utilities markets, and to this end, actively invest in growth such as M&A.

2-1 Overview

SKF has strong product competitiveness and a customer base in screw pumps for machine tools and sealless immersion pumps, and is expanding its business mainly in the European region. We aim to further expand our business by taking over the business and entering the global machine tool market by utilizing the EBARA Group's resource network and providing new products and services.

3. Future Developments

In addition to promptly taking over the customer base and suppliers of the Spandau Pumpen business, we will also transfer production to EPE in Italy to develop new customers globally. We will continue to actively expand our product lineup and acquire sales channels for the industrial market to expand our business.
