Ebara Corporation (hereinafter: Ebara) has delivered two large pumps to drain the storm water that flows into the Terashima Pump Station (hereinafter: this station).
Delivered two large drainage pumps to Terashima Pump Station (Higashi Osaka City)

1. Background
This plant is located in the Neyagawa River basin, a first-class river. Topographically, many areas in this region are lower than rivers, and urbanization makes it difficult for rain to soak into the ground, making the region prone to flooding due to heavy rain. This plant drains rainwater into rivers and serves as an important social infrastructure facility, protecting the lives and property of local residents.
2-1 Overview
Through this construction project, two of the existing pumps that had been ensuring safe and secure living in the area for approximately 40 years were replaced with new pumps due to deterioration※1. The newly delivered pumps have a displacement of approximately 1.2 times that of the existing pumps, giving the entire plant a displacement capacity of 36 tons per second.
