EBARA Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "EBARA") has become a member of DAMA Japan Branch (Japan Branch of the Data Management Association opens in a new tabof Japan) in order to promote data-driven management throughout the company and to spread the concept of data-driven management both inside and outside the company.

1. Background
In order to realize a corporate culture in which diverse human resources can play an active role while feeling a sense of job satisfaction and comfort, and to foster and permeate a culture that creates new value from the customer's point of view, we formulate strategies from the perspectives of people, goods, and money, collect and analyze data based on the strategies, and promote activities that are useful for decision-making based on the results obtained.
2-1 Overview
In order to realize data-driven management that makes management and business decisions based on data, it is necessary to have a system that enables speedy, easy, and safe cross-departmental data utilization. The Data Governance Section of the Data Strategy Team, which was established in July 2022, plays a central role in building a company-wide data utilization platform, promoting data utilization, and developing data-driven strategies for business. Through the DAMA Japan Branch, we aim to grasp the latest trends in data management methods in Japan and overseas, and to quickly establish a data governance system to appropriately manage and operate various types of data that exist within the company.
3. Future Developments
Through various events and activities related to the DAMA Japan Branch, we will accelerate the use of data throughout the EBARA Group while reflecting the latest information on data management and data governance. By examining and introducing a data governance system with a focus on the ISO30414, ambassadors, task diversity, and people analytics AI promoted by the Data Strategy Team and the Diversity Project, we will develop businesses that utilize data both internally and externally.
EBARA Group aims to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and further enhance its corporate value by addressing key ESG issues based on its long-term vision and medium-term management plan.
