1. Background

EBARA's long-term vision, "E-Vision2030," calls for "to be a corporate group that can realize a corporate culture of competing and taking on challenges, enabling diverse employees to work with a sense of job satisfaction and comfort." In January 2022, we launched the Diversity Project, considering that not only gender and nationality differences but also inclusion, which must be invisible in terms of experience and job type, is essential not only for corporate growth but also for the growth of each employee. Through participation in this training, we will contribute to the realization of a society in which a diverse range of challenging personnel can maintain psychological safety and work with peace of mind.

2. Overview

This training aims to foster leaders to create an organizational climate that is "inward-looking, homogeneous, rigid" to "outward-looking, heterogeneous, and resilient" through the participation of multiple companies and opportunities for dialogue across corporate boundaries. Promote and data-driven enhancement of organizational DEIs (diversity, equity, inclusion) from a task diversity perspective by improving literacy and awareness and behavioral change to themes that contribute to enhancing team inclusion, and analyzing the trends of participating companies.


From a data-driven perspective, we plan to measure the following effects.
■ Changes in inclusive leadership (awareness/behavioral aspects) of participating individuals and teams
■ Changes in psychological safety (level of understanding, recall, confidence, self-efficacy for practice, behavioral aspects, organizational aspects)
■ The degree of collaboration with one's work
■ Evaluation of multicultural intersectionality (quantitative/qualitative)
■ Evaluation of the organization's action process
■ Trend analysis for each company (analyzing trends based on previous and subsequent survey data and participants' statements, etc., and extracting strengths and growth potential for each company)

3. Future developments

Diversity is important in encouraging corporate transformation. We focus not only on visible information such as gender and age, but also on invisible task diversity such as ability, experience, and career. We are implementing data-driven system designs that allow diverse human resources to play an active role. We will strive to further increase our corporate value by realizing the "promotion of the active participation of human resources" set forth in the materiality of our long-term vision, "E-Vision2030."

The EBARA Group aims to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by addressing material ESG issues based on its long-term vision and medium-term management plan, and will further enhance its corporate value.
