Renewed certification as a "DX Certified Business" from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry

Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Ebara") has been certified for renewal as a "DX Certified Business" under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's DX Certification System as of April 1, 2023.

1. Overview of the DX Certification Program

The DX Certification System is a certification system based on the "Act to Partially Amend the Act on Promotion of Information Processing" which came into effect on May 15, 2020. Under this certification system, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will certify businesses that are taking excellent initiatives in accordance with the Digital Governance Code, based on guidelines established by the government (guidelines for the operation and management of information processing systems).
The standard for DX certification is "a state in which a company is ready to transform its business through digital technology." The DX Certification System is valid for two years, and after certification, the certification must be renewed.
Our company was certified as a "DX Certified Business" under the DX Certification System in April 2021, and our certification was renewed in April 2023.

2. Ebara's DX Strategy

In order to further expand its business on a global scale and develop into a sustainably growing industrial machinery manufacturer, EBARA has set out a DX strategy and is actively promoting DX. The outline of the DX strategy, examples of DX initiatives, and progress of the DX strategy are posted on the "DX Strategy Page" on our website and made public to stakeholders.

In June 2022, we were selected for the first time as a "DX Noteworthy Company 2022" selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Tokyo Stock Exchange, and Information-Technology Promotion Agency.

By addressing important ESG issues based on our long-term vision and medium-term management plan, the EBARA Group aims to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and further improve its corporate value.
