Backgrounds
We signed the TCFD in May 2019 and have been promoting the disclosure of climate-related information. After disclosing climate-related information based on TCFD recommendations in 2021, we began a climate-related scenario analysis for each face-to-face market based on opinions received through dialogue with investors and recognition of issues within our company.
Overview
Chapter 4, "Scenario Analysis Disclosure Examples (Domestic and International)opens in a new tab," introduces domestic and international disclosure examples regarding scenario analysis based on the latest research results in order to meet the needs of those who want to know disclosure examples that can be used as references for scenario analysis.
Our company's disclosure in 2022, which detailed multiple scenarios for our oil and gas market business, demonstrated our resilience to the results of the scenario analysis, and integrated them into our business strategy, was cited as an example of a domestic disclosure. (Pages 4-41 and 4-42)
We will continue to work to continually improve our climate change initiatives and information disclosure through dialogue with stakeholders.
