Delivered a large storm water drainage pump to Takamiya Pump Station in Neyagawa City (Osaka Prefecture)

1. Background and Objectives
Neyagawa City is proceeding with the Takamiya Pump Station Improvement Project, which aims to smoothly drain rainwater from the hilly areas east of the old National Route 170, which runs from Takatsuki City to Izumisano City in Osaka Prefecture, into the Sanra River. The project aims to prevent flooding during heavy rains by installing storm drains to capture rainwater before it flows into low-lying areas and by constructing the plant. The pumps delivered to the plant by Ebara drain the rainwater that flows into the plant through the storm drain pipes into the river.
2-1 Overview
For this project, we delivered three storm water drainage pumps with a total drainage capacity of 600m3/min. When all the pumps are in operation, they have the capacity to empty a typical 25m swimming pool in one minute.
