Received the highest ranking in DBJ's environmental rating

Ebara Corporation has been given the highest ranking in the "DBJ Environmental Rating" implemented by the Development Bank of Japan Inc. (hereinafter referred to as DBJ) as "a company recognized as being particularly advanced in its efforts to consider the environment."

The "DBJ Environmental Rating" is a financing menu that uses a screening system (rating system) developed by DBJ to score the level of environmental management of companies and select outstanding companies.
The following three points were evaluated in this rating.

(1) The company has set a long-term vision, "E-Vision 2030," and has set measures and KPIs for both environmental risks and opportunities. It has promoted company-wide efforts to constantly reduce the environmental impact based on a solid environmental management system and to create environmental value through energy-saving products, etc.

(2) The company has steadily advanced supply chain management by informing suppliers of the Procurement Policy and EBARA CSR Procurement Guidelines, and grasping the "status of CSR activities of suppliers" through a CSR procurement survey and requesting them to take action.

(3) The company has established a corporate governance system that pursues effectiveness and transparency, and is gradually setting up project organizations specializing in carbon neutral and hydrogen businesses, which require a longer-term, comprehensive perspective and the concentration of high technical capabilities, and is working to achieve sustainable growth and value creation under its founding spirit of "Passion and Sincerity."

The EBARA Group will address key ESG issues based on its long-term vision and medium-term management plan, aiming to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and further increase its corporate value.
