Launch of new service "EBARA Maintenance Cloud"


Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Ebara) has launched "EBARA Maintenance Cloud," a subscription-based service that uses IoT sensors and the cloud to remotely monitor the status of equipment.

1. Background and Objectives

In Japan, the birthrate is falling and the population is aging, resulting in problems such as labor shortages and rising labor costs due to the decline in the working population, and there is a demand for labor-saving and cost-cutting in facility management. To solve these issues, we launched "EBARA Maintenance Cloud," a remote monitoring service. Using this remote service, equipment status can be monitored in place of inspection personnel, allowing for reduced inspection time and labor costs, and enabling low-cost facility maintenance management.

Through the "EBARA Maintenance Cloud," we will share the status of equipment with customers and utilize our nationwide sales and service network to support the sound operation of our customers' assets, namely, their facilities.

2. Service Overview

① Monitoring function using IoT

Using IoT sensors that measure vibration values, the condition of rotating machinery such as pumps, blowers, and motors is monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

② Caution/Email notification in case of abnormality

If vibration values, temperature values, etc. exceed preset values, a caution warning email will be sent to notify you.

③ Periodic report function

Monthly reports showing changes in data are issued, allowing you to check changes in the condition of the equipment.

3. Exhibition Information

"EBARA Maintenance Cloud" will be exhibited at our booth at the "Smart Building Expo," which will be held from December 5th. Details are as follows.

3. Future developments
