Awarded in three categories of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Kanto Regional Development Bureau Awards for excellent construction work

1. Background
The Kyudo River is a first-class river that flows through the urban areas of Ota City and Oizumi Town in Gunma Prefecture and joins the left bank of the Tone River. Since there are many houses, businesses, and major transportation routes in the river basin, when the Kyutomari River rises due to heavy rain, the large drainage pumps at the Kyutomari Drainage Station drain water into the Tone River in order to reduce inland flooding and other damage.
2-1 Overview
Ebara is solving the problem of urban flooding, which has become increasingly severe in recent years, through comprehensive engineering, including proposals, designs, procurement, mechanical equipment construction, and after-sales service for pumping equipment that transports water. The drainage facilities at the Kyudomarigawa Pumping Station and the Yatagawa No. 1 Pumping Station are managed remotely. In this project, we updated and remodeled the important operation control equipment and remote monitoring and operation equipment with the aim of improving reliability and maintaining functionality.
