Launched domestic sales of ISO5199 compliant GSO pumps for industrial processes

EBARA CORPORATION (hereinafter, "EBARA") has started domestic sales of the industrial process pump GSO model, which has been sold overseas since 2019.

1. Background

The global industrial pump market is said to be worth approximately 1 trillion yen, and there is a demand for high quality, low price, and short delivery time, especially for domestic and foreign plant equipment. Since 2019, we have been selling the new GSO model to overseas markets, which has cleared the international standards ISO 2858 and ISO 5199, which are mainly applied to chemical pumps, by leveraging the standardization and mass production technologies cultivated in our standard pumping business and the engineering technologies cultivated in our custom pumping business. In particular, the standards required for vibration and shaft deflection according to ISO 5199 are very strict. We will develop a series of highly reliable brands for the domestic market.

2-1 Overview

● Complies with international standards ISO 2858 and ISO 5199 (flanges are JIS compliant)

● Newly developed impellers achieve high efficiency operation

● Rigid construction improves robustness

● Reduced product cost and delivery time

● Reduced maintenance cost

3. Future developments

A pump casing cast iron (FC material) version will also be available. We will expand our product-based lineup and establish the EBARA brand in the pump industry for industrial process applications.
