Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Ebara") has endorsed the reforestation initiative being implemented by Kanagawa Prefecture and has signed a contract to renew the "Forest Regeneration Partner System" established by the prefecture.
Renewal of contract for "Forest Regeneration Partner System" established by Kanagawa Prefecture

1. Background
Among the five key issues in Ebara's long-term vision, E-Vision 2030, Ebara has set "contributing to the creation of a sustainable society" and "thorough environmental management." As a company whose main business involves water, air, and the environment, we believe that it is our responsibility to society not only to promote CO2 reduction through our business but also to engage in environmental conservation activities. Therefore, since 2007 we have been supporting water source forest development activities under the "Water Source Forest Partner System," the predecessor of the current "Forest Regeneration Partner System." This year marks our 15th year, and we are renewing our contract for another five years.
2-1 Overview
As a forest regeneration partner, Ebara has established the "Ebara Corporation Water, Air and Environment Forest," covering an area of approximately 15 hectares in Kiyokawa Village, Aiko District, Fukushima Prefecture. Through forest conservation activities centered on this area, we will work to conserve the water source around Miyagase Dam (Aiko District, Kanagawa Prefecture), the water source for Kanagawa Prefecture, where our Fujisawa Office is located.
