Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Ebara") established a new diversity project under the direct control of the president on July 1st in order to foster a "corporate culture of competition and challenge" and promote the active participation of diverse human resources.

1. Background
In our long-term vision, "E-Vision 2030," we aim to become a corporate group where diverse employees can thrive, feeling motivated and comfortable in their work. We believe that the inclusion of not only visible differences such as gender and nationality, but also invisible differences such as experience and occupation is essential not only for the growth of the company but also for the growth of each employee. In January 2022, we began diversity activities through internal volunteer recruitment as a project directly under the president, and on July 1st, we launched the initiative as a dedicated organization.
2-1 Overview
The Diversity Project aims to create a world where various innovations can occur by connecting the knowledge and knowledge (people and people) of diverse people. We will promote task diversity (invisible differences in experience, ways of thinking, majors, work history, etc.), which is important for "increasing," "finding," "developing," and "connecting" human resources who can flexibly respond to a rapidly changing business environment with no right answers and produce results. In order to accelerate this initiative across the entire group, a new diversity project was established on July 1st under the direct control of the president.
3. Future developments
To promote Task Diversity, we conducted a diversity survey of all employees in March 2022 to collect the experiences and thoughts of each employee. In the future, we will carry out data-based activities with the aim of increasing the options for work styles that make the most of each individual's characteristics.
