1. Background and Objectives
As part of our global market strategy in our medium-term management plan "E-Plan 2022," we aim to develop new markets and expand our sales bases. In parallel with the construction of the sales network, local production with in-house investment was a problem in terms of cost-effectiveness. With the realization of Fabless Localization, we aim to expand our coverage of standard pumps in the Indian market.
2-1 Overview
Since its establishment in 2017, EMI has been promoting measures to realize Fabless Localization in order to expand its business in the Indian market, where price competition is severe. We have a history of deepening relationships of trust through business alliances with local pump parts manufacturers, and we have been able to build a Fabless Localization business model, production, and quality control system. With the establishment of the production system for the outsourced line and the acquisition of ISO9001 (Quality Management System) certification, full-scale operation is now possible. The production line is expected to produce knockdown 2,000 EVMS pumps per year.
3. Future developments
In the future, we will continue to expand the number of locally produced models and localize parts to further improve the competitiveness of our products and expand our standard pump business in the Indian market.
