Ebara Corporation has become a constituent stock of the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index.
The FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, constructed by global index provider FTSE Russell, is an index that reflects the performance of Japanese companies that excel in environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices relatively within each sector, and is designed to be sector-neutral. In addition, to promote the transition to a low-carbon economy, only companies that are evaluated for their efforts to improve, particularly those with high greenhouse gas emissions, are included in the index.

The Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) has newly adopted the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index as an ESG index for domestic stocks. Our company is included in all of GPIF's ESG indexes for domestic stocks.
