Hokuriku Agricultural Affairs Bureau received an order for new construction of Yoroigata Drainage Station No. 1 (Niigata Prefecture)

EBARA Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "EBARA") received an order from the Hokuriku Regional Agricultural Administration Office for the construction of a new pump facility at the Yoroigata No.1 Drainage Plant (hereinafter referred to as "this facility").

1. Background

This machine is located in the central and western part of Niigata Prefecture, where rice cultivation and the cultivation of fruit trees and vegetables are thriving. Since the area is surrounded by multiple rivers and is a low-lying area containing land below zero meters above sea level, it has long been plagued by flooding caused by heavy rains. Reclamation began in the Edo period, and after the war, the construction of drainage stations and the development of drainage channels progressed in stages, and flood damage in the area was improved and agricultural management was stabilized. However, in recent years, the aging of facilities and machinery and equipment that have been built for more than 40 years has become an issue. Since the 60 years since the start of operation of this aircraft plant have ended, it will be reborn as the new Drainage Station No. 1 of the Armor Lagoon.

2. Overview

This project will design, manufacture, and construct a large pump and peripheral equipment for a newly constructed drainage plant to replace the existing one. In addition, after the start of operation, it will also monitor and control the operation of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th airports located in the vicinity of this aircraft. By improving the reliability of facilities and performing efficient maintenance and management, we contribute to the maintenance of local agricultural production and the stability of agricultural management.
