Elliott Group (hereinafter referred to as "Elliott"), a group company of Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Ebara"), held a completion ceremony for the cryopump test facility built in Genet, Pennsylvania, USA, on October 22nd.

1. Background
Elliott designs, manufactures and services all types of centrifugal compressors, axial compressors, steam turbines, power recovery expanders, cryopumps and cryogenic liquid expanders for use in the petrochemical, refining and other oil and gas and liquefied gas industries. Elliott's cryopumps play a role in transporting low-temperature liquefied gases in LNG, LPG, and other plants around the world.
2-1 Overview
Construction of the new Cryopump series product (Cryodynamics®) testing facility began in December 2019. The facility consists of six buildings, including an indoor, enclosed testing facility that is not affected by the weather. The test facility includes a test bay for two cryopumps and a dedicated test bay for cryogenic liquid expanders, as well as an energy-efficient cooling system.
