Ebara Ernest Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Ebara Ernest"), a special subsidiary of Ebara Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Ebara"), received the Director-General's Award of the "Excellent Company for Employment of Persons with Disabilities" in the third year of Reiwa from the Bureau of Industrial and Labor Affairs of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

1. Background and Objectives
Ebara has set "promoting the active participation of human resources" as one of the five materialities (important issues) in its long-term vision "E-Vision 2030" formulated in 2020. In our efforts to employ people with disabilities, we aim to have each person take on part of the Ebara Group's work through Ebara Earnest according to their abilities and aptitude, thereby improving the work efficiency and productivity of the entire group and thereby contributing to improving our corporate value.
2-1 Overview
With the aim of creating an environment in which people with disabilities can play an active role in the workplace, this award is a system that selects companies in Tokyo that have achieved the statutory employment rate for persons with disabilities and makes excellent efforts and commends them as companies that are making excellent efforts to employ persons with disabilities in the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
This year's award was given in recognition of the following:
(1) Proactive employment of persons with disabilities and application of personnel systems such as full-time employee promotion systems and welfare programs
(2) Ernest Ebara respects the individuality and willingness to take on challenges of its own employees, and creates an environment in which work can be carried out within the EBARA Group while accepting diversity.
(3) Creation of a system in which employees are proactively involved in the work of Ernest Ebara
