"Yokoshiba Pumping Station Pump Equipment Renovation Work" received awards in three categories, including the President's Award in the third year of Reiwa

EBARA Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "EBARA") received the "President's Award for Excellent Construction Contractors", "Outstanding Construction Engineer Chairman's Award", and "Central Safety Council Chairman's Award for Excellent Construction Management" from the Japan Water Resources Agency (hereinafter referred to as the Japan Water Resources Agency) in the third year of Reiwa. These are in recognition of Ebara's "Boso Conduit Emergency Renovation Yokoshiba Pumping Station Pump Equipment Renovation Work" completed by Ebara in Reiwa 2. This is the first time that we have received awards in three categories for the same construction work ordered by the Japan Water Resources Agency.

2-1 Overview

The Yokoshiba Pumping Station sends water to the Togane Dam and Nagagara Dam via the approximately 35-kilometer Boso Conduit*1. This work was carried out at the Yokoshiba Pumping Station*2 in Chiba Prefecture, which is managed by the Japan Water Resources Agency, and was renovated including system design, fabrication, and installation of aging pumping equipment, as well as the introduction of a monitoring system.

(1) President's Commendation: Reiwa 3rd year Excellent construction contractor and excellent construction engineer
In this project, the company was recognized for its proactive implementation of safety management and activities, its ingenuity and ingenuity in on-site management, and its contribution to the business with advanced technology.

(2) Central Safety Council Chairman's Commendation: Reiwa 3rd year safety management excellent construction
The excellent occupational health and safety initiatives in this project were highly evaluated.

3. Future developments

Ebara's long-term vision, "E-Vision 2030," aims to support "an earth-friendly society, social infrastructure where people can live safely and securely, and a world where people do not have to worry about water or food," and to "contribute to the creation of a sustainable society." Ebara's social systems business will support the strengthening of social infrastructure through the development of pumps with improved drainage capacity and the provision of easily maintained equipment and services.

By addressing key ESG issues based on its long-term vision and medium-term management plan, the Ebara Group will strive to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and further improve its corporate value.
