EBARA Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "EBARA") has been selected and awarded by the Sapporo City Sewerage and River Bureau as the "Sapporo City Sewerage and River Bureau Construction Safety Management Outstanding Contractor for FY2020" for the sixth consecutive year and the seventh time overall.
Selected and awarded as “FY2020 Sapporo City Sewerage and River Bureau Excellent Construction Safety Management Contractor”

1. Background
Sewage treatment plants are an essential infrastructure for the safety and comfort of residents. EBARA solves the problems faced by sewage treatment plants by proposing, designing, procuring, machine and equipment construction, and comprehensive engineering of facilities such as pumps and blowers.
2. Overview
This award has been presented by the Sapporo City Sewerage and River Bureau since 1981 (Showa 56) to companies that have been particularly outstanding in construction safety management, with the aim of raising safety awareness among construction workers and preventing construction accidents. This award was in recognition of the maintenance work on all five sewage pumps delivered to Sapporo's sewage treatment plants, the Soseigawa Water Reclamation Plaza, the Fushikogawa Water Reclamation Plaza, and the Toyohira River Water Reclamation Plaza. Maintenance of multiple large vertical pumps was carried out on site over a long period of time. In a construction site where conditions change daily, we implemented safety management, including risk prediction activities, and completed the work on schedule.
