Ebara Corporation (hereinafter, Ebara) was certified as a model company in December 2020 in the "2020 Tokyo Metropolitan Government Certification System for Companies Promoting the Prevention of Simultaneous Return Home" implemented by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and Ebara's efforts have now been published in a collection of case studies published by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government introducing companies that are promoting the prevention of simultaneous return home.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Certification System for Companies Promoting the Prevention of Simultaneous Return Home is a system that certifies companies that actively work to prevent employees from returning home at the same time, with the aim of avoiding confusion in the local community in the event of a disaster such as an earthquake. In fiscal year 2020, 18 companies were selected as certified companies, and five of them, including our company, were certified as model companies that are implementing initiatives that have particularly large social impacts and ripple effects. Going forward, the EBARA Group will continue to formulate a BCP (Business Continuity Plan) in preparation for unpredictable emergency situations and engage in risk management.

The EBARA Group will work to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and further improve its corporate value by addressing key ESG issues based on its long-term vision and medium-term management plan.
