Donated to the UN WFP's Corona Countermeasures Support

While the world is under threat from the novel coronavirus, EBARA Corporation (hereafter, EBARA) implemented support for the emergency response of the United Nations WFP (*1) because it wants to contribute to countermeasures.

1. Background

EBARA has set “advanced ESG management practices” in its long-term vision E-Vision 2030, and emphasizes contributing to society through activities contributing to humanitarian assistance, etc.
EBARA has been cooperating with the United Nations WFP Association as a council member since 2008, and this time, they agreed with the UN WFP's emergency response to the novel coronavirus and donated prepaid cards (*2) that were surplus due to various events, etc.

2. Overview

While considering support measures, we came to the idea that surplus products stored in-house might be useful for COVID-19 countermeasures, and consulting with the United Nations WFP Association led to this donation.
