1. Background
EBARA has set “advanced ESG management practices” in its long-term vision E-Vision 2030, and emphasizes contributing to society through activities contributing to humanitarian assistance, etc.
EBARA has been cooperating with the United Nations WFP Association as a council member since 2008, and this time, they agreed with the UN WFP's emergency response to the novel coronavirus and donated prepaid cards (*2) that were surplus due to various events, etc.
2. Overview
While considering support measures, we came to the idea that surplus products stored in-house might be useful for COVID-19 countermeasures, and consulting with the United Nations WFP Association led to this donation.
